Dawn has served 3 years at Chief Executive Level in the NHS, 5 years at Board Level.
With a Masters Degree in Management (distinction) Dawn worked for 2 years as a Practice Director and her studies focused on Practice Management, identifying the key factors in successful practices. She developed a Primary Care Trust from scratch gaining considerable experience working with GPs and their teams.
Having established Waterside Consultancy 5 years ago, Dawn has accrued considerable experience in the Commissioning Arena working with a number of PCTs. This has included management of one of the first wave ISTC Contracts on behalf of the Department of Health; consultancy support for the commissioning assurance framework World Class Commissioning; demand management project work to identify savings for a PCT in deficit; developing and implementing a new strategy to relaunch PBC for a PCT where engagement with GPs had been scant.
Dawn is now studying for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Executive and Business Coaching at Leeds Metropolitan University.
